On October 17th, the Dykstra Cup 2009 was sailed on the IJsselmeer. 5 plumb bow sailing yachts designed by Dykstra & Partners Naval Architects raced against each other for the line honors. The conditions where great: a sunny fall day with 20 knots of breeze.

J-Class Rainbow contruction started
The J-Class Rainbow, designed by Dykstra & Partners for a repeat client, has started construction at Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw. When the hull will be ready, Rainbow will be transported to be finished at Holland Jachtbouw (HJB).

Hanuman, the replica new build of Endeavour II, was launched over the weekend at the Royal Huisman yard in The Netherlands. Designed by Dykstra and Partners Naval Architects, and with an interior by Pieter Beeldsnijder.

The Long Tall Sally expedition yacht project will be a 32.5 meter ketch, based on the lines of the Bestevaer series. She will be built for cruising the rougher and colder areas on a shared ownership basis
